CONNEAUT – A Conneaut Public Works summer employee apologized for mowing down trees planted in honor of military personnel. The worker said Wednesday that he will replace dozens of small trees and shrubs he damaged last week inside Malek Park, according to reports, which stated the 19 year old seasonal employee said he did to make his job easier.
