Eastlake mother accused of murder will be sentenced next month

The Eastlake woman accused of killing her autistic, diabetic daughter by giving her too much medicine will be sentenced next month.
Sandra Speck, 50, who was originally scheduled to be sentenced today (June 19), faces up to 11 years in prison for the Aug. 21 incident in which she repeatedly gave her 21-year-old disabled daughter, Mindy, insulin injections even though she knew it could kill her. Sentencing has been set for July 10.
