Reliever Miller Scheduled to Return

As the post-season approaches, the bullpen is critical– and Andrew Miller, the left-handed relief ace who is central to the Indians’ chances of returning to the World Series, could be activated on Thursday for the game against the Royals, according to Tribe Manager Terry Francona. Miller has been steadily increasing his practice regimen in recent days. The lefty hurler has been on the disabled list with knee soreness since August 22nd. He was on the DL early in August with the same injury.
